Mixx and Twitter Mixxed In

One of the social sites that I have been frequenting these past few days is Mixx. It’s another cool and clean social bookmarking and networking site. It has a friendly atmosphere despite the humble number of members. It certainly isn’t as big as Reddit or Digg. But it is just as friendly (but none of the snide or foul remarks at Reddit and Digg).Mixx

Mixx is an easy-to-use social bookmark. You can easily bookmark any page by either submitting the link to Mixx itself, or by using its Mixx bookmark button. It also markets geo-targeting by asking for the location in which a page talks about, aside from the usual services bookmarking sites offers.

In connecting with old and new friends, all you need to do is follow a fellow Mixxer. You will automatically become his or her friend.

Mixx has also introduced a new feature; it can also be tweeted with Twitter. This feature allows every page you mixx to be automatically displayed on your Twitter account. This is an smart move from Mixx, considering how very many of its members are obviously Twitters!

With this given possibility to socialize in two social sites, why not mixx in with Mixx and Twitter?

Intruder Alert

I haven’t made a blog post in a while. And now my blogs are dwindling into the Google mass of low-ranked blogs. I guess I need to have a little more control over my schedule. But then these days have been a little pesky, to tell the truth. It’s like everything went a little confusing for me to do what was needed to be done with work and personal life duties.Giving Up On Annoying Circumstances

I was really planning to blog all the way every night. But I had a problem with, let’s say, territory, and a little obsessive-compulsiveness on my part. You see, I have this thing about wanting to control my environment in order for me to have a clear mind. I usually do some blogging at home, but with an annoying visitor always coming over, I just couldn’t.

Like I implied earlier, I’m a little territorial. I don’t like it when people are hovering near my work spot. I can’t work and I can’t concentrate when my work spot is being intruded upon. My work spot, at home, is our humble living room, wherein the computer is perfectly set. The living room is also filled with the TV, some books in the corner, and a comfortable long chair. This is also where the visitor and my sibling huddle up, either to just talk or watch TV. Intruders upon my work spot, oh yeah.

Being a little obsessive-compulsive also makes me irritable. I like thing in order. With other people, and the pesky visitor, in the territory, or even just in the house, things go a little disorderly. The kitchen would be a mess, the laundry goes unnnoticed, the floor goes unswept… and I’d be so annoyed I would just go to bed and sleep. No work for the day! … and the same process would happen the next day.

I guess I need to give a little more willpower if want to continue blogging. I really don’t want to give up blogging just because I get moody and OC. And I don’t feel like losing to a pesky visitor when in the first place, it’s my house and my work spot!
